easy push button start does not work

The electric start did not work on initial setup; I plugged in the battery charger for 24 hours and tried again with the same result. I was able to start the generator with the recoil starter, but there is no way my wife would be able to use that starting method. This machine is useless to us without the electric start.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Seems to be very well built and lots of features

So far it has been a great unit, starts right up and performs as it should. The only thing I would like to have seen on the unit (which it does not have) is an indicator that lets you know it shut down due to low oil. The unit will shut down, but you have no way of knowing that it was due to low oil. This can be a pain in the case that the low oil sensor fails and the engine will not run. You will check the oil and see that it is okay and assume something else is wrong with the engine without ever knowing it was due to a faulty sensor because you have no way of knowing that the engine shut down because it thought it was low on oil.

So far no good!!

Purchased less than a year ago, had 3 issues to this point.
1. Wouldn’t start and ran battery dead trying to start , had to tear apart and spray with carb cleaner and pull start.
2. During routine maintenance/ changing oil , noticed battery swollen and looking ready to burst. Replaced battery at my own cost.
3. Now upon trying to use voltage output drops out from 240 volts - to 30 volts without load.
For emergency portable power this has been Basically worthless.

Very happy with purchase

Delivery was arranged and was on time without a hitch. The generator was easy to set up. Basically, you just put on the wheels and feet, fill it with oil and fuel, and start it up. I particularly like that it will use both propane and gas. The electric start worked flawlessly, both on the generator and the remote control. Throwing the fuel selector switch smoothly changed fuel sources from propane to gas and back. I am very happy with the purchase. I was without any power for a week during the derecho in Iowa. I feel prepared for any future outages. I plan on putting in a transfer switch to run almost the whole house with this generator.

Really good design

Bought this because really good design and had a lot of great reviews but really interested in the dual fuel purpose I plan on running it on propane to extend the life of the machine, i plan on buying a second one next year

Great Generator!

I bought one two months ago and I have a great experience. Everything arrived OK. Tech information is enough to operate it. Less noisy than other generators. It has the power I need. I used it with gasoline and put up 2 air conditioning (24.000 BTU y 12.000 BTU), a refrigerator, 2 TV and more than 10 light bulb. It works great!. I fully recommend it.

Love all the features and price

I purchased this generator after using several smaller units from various manufacturer over the years. I love all the features on this generator for the price. Very easy to switch from LP or Gas, easy push button start or remote key fob. No messing with the choke. I've read it will attempt to start 3 times with one button push. Can't say if that feature works as so far it's always started on the first push. It is a heavy unit, so the included wheel kit and handle make it easy to move around. Oil, funnel, and even a trickle charger to keep the battery topped off if you don't run the generator frequently are all included.
I would recommend this to a friend!
