Started up first attempt

Purchased this generator for emergency use. Experienced a 3 day power outage two weeks ago and the unit performed perfectly. Used both propane and gasoline during this outage. No problem transitioning from one fuel source to the other while unit is operating.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This generator came highly recommended. Perfect features (dual fuel) for my house, which is on propane and in an area of regular wind storms (island).

Great Value

I live in an area that has frequent power outages. During the last one, my old underpowered 40 year old Generator would not start as I stood in the pouring rain soaked to the bone pulling on the starter cord. I decided to upgrade my generator right there and then. I researched the various brands online and on Youtube. Westinghouse had all of the features I was looking for-- dual fuel, the wattage I needed to run my house, electric start, and great price.

Easy to use

Now I won't worry about possible extreme weather knocking out our electricity. Just powerful enough to keep us going in the event of a long outage. Does not take up much room in our garage. Transfer switch installed and we are ready to go. Easy to plug in and start with the button or from the house with the remote. Like the dual fuel option.

WGen7500DF Gas Mode Issue

WGen7500 duel fuel only worked using propane. After doing my own research I figured out that the carburetor wasn’t getting fuel because the solenoid below it wasn’t opening during start up. So during start up in the gas mode I started to tap on the solenoid to free it. After the second try the generator started.
