I've only run it for half an hour without any load, so I can't speak as to how it will fare under actual use, but it did measure as 120V. And it started up fine. Makes more noise than I'd prefer, but that's typical for a generator of this size. I would've appreciated clearer instructions about which side to lean the generator on when installing the wheels. It's hard to tell which end is which when it's still in the box.

This generator (Wgen7500DF) will be used as emergency backup home power for those chosen essential circuits. South Florida is of course a high risk area for storm related power outages, sometimes for long periods. Dual fuel is therefore a distinct advantage - when one fuel becomes in short supply, at least an alternative fuel allows civilized life to be maintained. Product appears to be well designed & was hopefully carefully assembled in China. One constructive criticism: the packaging appeared to be completely inadequate. My generator was delivered by Pilot Freight Services with the remains of a very tattered thin-walled cardboard box draped around the product. All the accessories & documentation were loose. No pallet or sub frame, & no Styrofoam(r) cushioning was evident from the packaging remains. Fortunately, I was home to inspect the product before signing for its' delivery, and surprisingly everything was there, and even more surprisingly, the product appeared undamaged. I think this was more by luck than by any thoughtful packaging design; it had obviously had a very rough journey. The generator started right up first try, after usual prep steps, and appears to have taken it's brutal trip to South Florida like a champ! For that I'm grateful.

Top quality and best option for the price

Arrived in great condition with no damage to the unit itself. Assembly was simple - add two feet and two wheels and some oil basically. The funnel is a must so make sure you hold onto that. I couldn't get it running on propane with the electric start so I had to pull start it to get it running. It ran at a VERY low idle and I let it run for an hour to break it in, then changed the oil and run it again with fresh stuff. My one issue is the electric starter keeps re-engages after its running and sounds like the starter is going to grind the teeth off of the unit. Obviously I can't use it until I address the problem with Westinghouse soon. Overall the quality seems high and all of the extra features like remote key fob, electric start, dual fuel option, fuel gauge, external battery charger and others make this a top option in the price category. I'd recommend this generator and only purchased it after lots of research and comparing.
