I think this is the best purchase we've ever made of a portable generator. The small footprint of the unit makes for easy storage. The setup/startup is so user friendly, once getting familiar with safety precautions it took about 15 minutes to operations. We made this purchase to power the necessities due in power outage. We will connect through manual transfer switch going forward.

Researched several models and brands before settling on this one. Took it out of the box, put the wheels and feet on it, filled it with oil and it fired right up. Perfect for my application (backup power for a large reef aquarium in the event of an outage). Runs well on gas and propane.

Arrived in good condition, runs well

The WGEN7500DF arrived in good condition. The side with the box of wheels & parts had a puncture but no apparent damage to the generator. To pull-start the unit, it was an easy pull but I had to manipulate the electric choke for it to start. To pushbutton-start the unit I just pushed the button and it fired up promptly. Have not yet tried operation on propane fuel. We had a short power outage shortly after receipt, assembly, oiling and fueling, and successfully used the generator to power our house (submersible well pump, oil furnace, refrigerator). It is only slightly quieter and a little higher pitched than our slightly smaller capacity, circa 2010 portable generator. The onboard meter shows 240V at just under 63Hz output.

Since I had to tackle this project of putting the unit together on my own for the first time, I was a bit nervous to say the least. I followed the carton opening directions and was able to successfully put the unit together. I then found the oil access( because of the photos) and filled the unit with the oil which was provided. I was able to locate all the swithches and familiarize myself with them. The gasoline was quite easy to find and fill. I stepped back and was ready! I pushed the "start" button. IT STARTED! I was amazed! I had done it!! Summary: Great directions and photos. Thank you!
