Seem to perform well so far-many starting attempts

I selected this portable, dual-fuel, 7500W generator to run just the essentials (window AC, dorm size refrigerator, microwave, internet gateway, lights and fans) during a power outage, which are frequent here in Houston, TX (Hurricane Alley). I wanted a dual-fuel because propane is more stable and easier to store long-term than gasoline, but if unable to get more propane during an emergency, gasoline would still be an option.
We haven't had a real outage yet, but the accessories included with the generator and the installation instructions seem complete. I was able to add oil, select propane fueling, and start the generator without any real difficulty. It's not too loud for a portable generator - it's about as loud as a gas-powered lawnmower, which I think is commendable, since its engine is significantly larger.
The one concern I have is that the generator seems to take quite a few cranking attempts to start when cold - perhaps up to half a dozen. I accepted this on first start, since all the parts are new, but it still seems to need up to half a dozen cranking attempts to start (as stated, I am running on propane, your results may vary on gasoline). It takes enough cranking attempts that I always wonder if it's going to start or if I'll need to call service.
I'm using a fairly unusual connection method, where the generators 240V L1430R outlet is connected to a 1430 Generator Inlet Box, which is connected into a small load center where the 240 is split into two 120V, 20A circuits with through-the-wall wiring. This will avoid any extension cords running from the generator through doors or windows into the house, and also avoid the GFCI functionality of the two built-in 120V outlets, which I don't want. I also won't be powering any 240V devices, so I would never use the 240V outlet unless I split it this way.
Once I've used it in a real outage, if it's possible to update reviews I'll update this as to its propane usage and reliability.

I Purchased this a month ago and so happy I did! After our last hurricane I don't have to worry about being without power again. I thought that it was going to be really loud but it wasn't that bad. I was a great investment.

Bought this a a back up power supply in case of a power outage. However i had a friend who was constructing a metal framed shop and was helping him build it. I brought the generator over and used it to power the whole job site. It never failed to our power all our tools, battery chargers, power tools and a welder.
