i have not used it yet other than to start it up. i will use only during power outages to continue running necessary appliances.

I purchased this generator because we live in a rural area with frequent power outages. With the recent bout of wild fires in So Cal we lost power for 10 days. We first tried out a smaller unit but soon got tired of plugging and unplugging different items so as to not overload the generator. With that test of the setup had I decided to exchange it for a larger unit. I've done all the start up procedures and everything works well it appears. I haven't used it under a power outage yet thus the 4 stars. The electric w/remote start is nice. The rope start on the other unit was a bit annoying for the wife.

Powerful, started first time out of the box!

Hooked it up with a transfer switch to my home- tried it out and it works well. Hopefully, we won't need to use it after another hurricane this year. Easy to assemble wheels. It took a little while to find the negative wire to attach to the battery- perhaps the wire could be tagged for those of us who aren't electricians?

Duel fuel was the selling point. Both working great, started up first time with all options. Easy to move with the easy to install wheels.

I bought this Westinghouse dual fuel generator to provide backup power to my house when we lose utility power during our annual wind storms. The generator was heavy but easy enough to put together and position. The parts all fit together nicely, and the manual provided clear instructions. I like that I can use propane as a fuel source, as I always have a tank on reserve and it's easier to transport safely than gasoline. I also appreciate how easy it was to ground the control panel when setting it up. I don't really want to lose power, but now at least I'm covered when I do.
