My Generac gave up the ghost after 18 years, so I did extensive research before purchasing this generator. I was looking for a Generator that my wife could start without having to pull a cord. This Generator fit the bill. Assembly was easy. The instructions are straight forward & easy to follow. I like the maintenance schedule that came with the literature. The Generator looks powerful, hopefully we will not need it. I have not as yet started it due to a lack of time. I may start it this weekend and give it a small test drive.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My First Choice Backup Home Generator

After doing a large amount of research online , I decided to go with the WGEN7500DF portable generator based upon the following criteria: Price point,ease of use, ease of assembly,alternative fuel source(propane) and control panel layout. Had it up and running in 30 minutes and it should be able to power up all my basics during an outage.Very pleased with my purchase.

Top quality and best option for the price

Arrived in great condition with no damage to the unit itself. Assembly was simple - add two feet and two wheels and some oil basically. The funnel is a must so make sure you hold onto that. I couldn't get it running on propane with the electric start so I had to pull start it to get it running. It ran at a VERY low idle and I let it run for an hour to break it in, then changed the oil and run it again with fresh stuff. My one issue is the electric starter keeps re-engages after its running and sounds like the starter is going to grind the teeth off of the unit. Obviously I can't use it until I address the problem with Westinghouse soon. Overall the quality seems high and all of the extra features like remote key fob, electric start, dual fuel option, fuel gauge, external battery charger and others make this a top option in the price category. I'd recommend this generator and only purchased it after lots of research and comparing.

So far this unit is fantastic!!! Started right off on propane, no problem!!! Wheels are very heavy duty, not like my old generator. The handle makes it easy to push around. I had this thing unpacked and running in less then an hour. You won't be disappointed with this one!!!
