Nice machine

Perfect solution for our small house, runs everything except the drier. The remote start/stop feature is a nice plus.

This is my second generator - so when I started this one, I was surprised that it seemed to run at full load speed (i.e. no switching to idle when I have no load on it.) I was concerned and spent the day calling various numbers provided by Westinghouse - after explaining the situation they would all say return the unit - the last call was to the mechanic should the unit need repair - and he explained their is no autoamtic idle feature on this unit - so it would run at full speed. But other than that - I am very happy with the unit.

Glad to have electric start!

I have another propane-powered generator that I bought a few years ago for home backup only. When I bought it, I convinced myself that I couldn’t “afford” to spring for electric start. When I finally needed it, I couldn’t get it started and kept trying until I nearly tore a ligament in my arm. When I stopped myself from trying, and thought about the heart surgery I had five months earlier, I realized that I should afforded electric start on my first generator. This Westinghouse electric start generator is great, and the remote control is a bonus feature. Having dual fuel options is a plus.

Lots of power

I just recently purchased my WGen 7500df and it was easy to set up right out of the box. After setup, I fueled it up and started to plug in quite a few household items, along with some pieces from my woodshop. Not a drop in power. I'll be trying the propane power later down the road with another review.

Easy start, easy to use, lots of power

Bought as a power upgrade over an older unit. Excellent quality, easy to set up and use, amazingly easy to start AND it has a remote start as well. Swapping to different fuel is pretty easy as well. Happy with the purchase. Have had it for 4 months at this point. Only recommendation is to upgrade the wheels if you're not on easy, flat terrain. The stock wheels are fine but the upgrade is worth it.
