I bought this unit for outages primarily due to hurricanes. I researched many brands and found this one was the best. I like the Dual Fuel capability.

Outstanding generator

Purchased to provide power during an outage. It was easy to setup. All the required parts were included. It started on the first try running on propane. So far I have only run it as an initial test, but all went well.

Very pleased with purchase

I bought this generator a month ago for emergency power during outages (prime targets are our refrigerator and garage freezer) and haven't had the need for using it (yet). I plan to use propane only with a 5 gallon tank of gas on "standby" if it runs our of propane. It fired right up on propane and runs very nicely. The proof will be in the pudding so now we just have to wait until the next outage.

Purchased this after putting it off for too long. Finally got hit with a major storm that caused us to not have power for 5 days. This machine started right up and shipped free through Lowes in 5 days. All seems good as I ran it through the break in period. I like all the outputs for power, so it should power up my freezer and fridge with no problem plus other small items next time the power goes out! It’s wonderful that it has option of dual fuel too. Not too noisy either - about what I’d expect for a generator like this.

Great Features, Great Price

I just purchased my WGen7500DF, primarily for use in case of power outages to run a refrigerator, portable AC, microwave, lights, fans, laptop, etc. I wanted a duel fuel generator, did extensive research, and picked this generator based on excellent customer reviews, features and price versus the competition. The generator was shipped and arrived ahead of schedule and in perfect condition. It assembled easily and started on the first push of the electric starter. I have only used it with limited equipment plugged in so far, but have an electrician coming to install a transfer switch. Based on my experience so far, I would certainly recommend this generator.

I just purchased this because hurricane season is right around the corner. I was in the direct path of Hurricane Florence last year and got hit hard. At the time I didn't even own a generator. I was without power for almost 2 weeks and lost everything in fridge / freezer. It was so hot during this time frame I would have done anything to have A/C unit running. After much research I purchased this Westinghouse generator for the dual fuel aspect and the wattage. The reviews were great for it and I wanted a generator. So far its worked great, but only fired it up on both gas and propane to ensure everything worked correctly. Very happy with my purchase so far.
