Easy set up, user friendly.

Bought this 10 days ago. Have only set up and run preliminary tests. We live far from town and have outages frequently. We tested multiple appliances and had an easy time setting up and will be running extension cords but will look to Westinghouse for the switch box to match.

Well built portable generator.

Generator arrived in excellent condition, no dents, scrapes or loose screws and connections. Installed the front supports and wheels and filled the oil reservoir. Connected 20 lb. LP tank and generator started on the first try. I have not started the generator yet using gasoline, but I see no reason why it wouldn't run as well with that fuel. I left the generator run for about an hour to break it in slowly. I did a short load test by plugging in a few power tools and operating them without a hitch. Of course I have not yet had the opportunity to use it under real "power outtage" conditions, but see no reason why this generator wouldn't perform as expected. My plan is to install a transfer switch and have this generator power my house.

Nice Unit

Good product for good value. Looking forward to using it. Product came fully assembled except for wheels. The instruction / owner manual did not identify some of the tool aids sent with the unit. Fastening the footings was a challenge because the threading in the threaded hole on the frame was not exactly matching the bolt, so I had to muscle it a bit. Programing the remote was simple and easy. Overall satisfied so far.
