Bought this dual fuel generator for temporary power source because we live in a rural area that encounters frequent power outages. We have a 500 gallon propane tank that will be utilized should I not have gasoline on hand when needed. After assembling and hooking up directly to the propane source the generator cranked immediately with the electric start. Very impressed at this point with the purchase.

I bought the 7500 DF for peace of mind as a homeowner. Transfer switch was installed and the generator arrived right on time. Unboxing, assembly,, trash removal and test run in under an hour with 1 person. Assembly was a breeze and fired up on the first push of the remote button!
Powers my entire house no problem!
I would recommend this to a friend!

easy push button start does not work

The electric start did not work on initial setup; I plugged in the battery charger for 24 hours and tried again with the same result. I was able to start the generator with the recoil starter, but there is no way my wife would be able to use that starting method. This machine is useless to us without the electric start.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought to replace my primary generator as we loose power frequently. Works flawlessly. Power entire farm with this unit (gas fuel source primary).

Simple setup

Waited for two months for delivery after placing order. It looks like the wait was worth it. Received in good condition, but a couple of non-obvious things slowed setup. First, a different method of battery connection was provided, simple and easy to do, but not as described in the manual. The second issue was the packaging, (or lack of) for the key fob starter. It was not in the accessory box, nor attached to a yellow tag as other parts and warnings were. It was clipped around the starter rope and hidden by the rope pull handle. When found, it was properly paired with the generator and worked as expected. Starting was perfect, beginning with propane and started on second crank. output is 250 VAC, 63 Hz, now, but may change as break-in is done. 3780 RPM is 5% above rating, yielding a 5% higher Hz.. Looks like a winner and am looking forward to applying it to my transfer switch. Cable was ordered at time of generator order but not shipped with it. Still waiting status on cable. Oil furnished was exactly the amount required to top up, but funnel supplied should be longer to reach under the control panel and into the oil fill port.

Great looks, solidly builts, trouble starting

i purchased this Gen7500 DF on Oct 24, 2019. I t started up right away, on both fuels. It was not needed, until 2 days ago. Despite repeated attempts it does not start. It has fresh gasoline, oil level is full, and I have followed all the directions correctly.

I purchased this generator yesterday and I am absolutely delighted with it so far.
Unpacking and assembling it, adding oil and fuel, and starting it up for the first time was a breeze.
I am very impressed with the materials, build, fit and finish.
The reviews that I read for this generator made choosing it a no-brainer!
I can't wait to have a transfer switch installed so that I can take full advantage of this awesome generator.

Reliable Back-up Power!

Bought this WGen7500DF just a month ago even though I had been searching for a reliable back-up power for a few months. As soon as it was available I ordered it. Shipment got delayed due to winter conditions. Setup was relatively easy even though the user manual had inconsistent information on numbering parts (the remote pairing button instruction said #17 but it was actually #19 in the picture). So far it has performed as expected but a little noisier than I expected, but acceptable. I haven't tried running it on propane yet.
With the planned blackouts in Northeastern California by PG & E it makes sense to get this generator and it makes us sleep better knowing we can keep our essential appliances working.
