Propane and Gasoline perfect for my home

After this summer 21’ we have had so many storms and now I have a piece of mind with my new generator. Dual fuel at a perfect price for the next blackout. The unit is heavy weighing around 230 pounds but once I put the oversized wheels its a breeze to move around. Electric start with a remote key fob is awesome for intermittent usage during the night. I plan to only use propane unless there is an extended power outage.

Excellent equipment

It was in stock when I needed it, and was delivered in just a few days, which is a big deal lately. All the parts listed in the “what comes in the box” section where included. Minimal assembly was straight forward and easy, Westinghouse even includes the tools, and the crankcase oil. The owners manual is well written, and easy to understand. I used the manual start method, and it started right up with propane, and it runs perfectly. It is about the same decibel level as my snowblower.

I’ve been meaning to get a generator for awhile and I finally got the 7500DF. I asked a few people who had a Westinghouse and they said get the dual model….propane (which won’t degrade) and gas. I saw the great reviews on different websites and they were positive. I’m content now that I have a generator.

Ordered online. Recieved on delivery date on time. No damage. All parts were there. Put it together and filled with oil. Putvgas in it. Started with push button. It started on the 3rd crank. Ran 5 minutes and shut fuel off and let it run out of gas. Hooked up propane and started on the 2nd crank. Ran 5 minutes and turned the tank off let it shut down. Started with gas again. Let it run 30 minutes. Put some small loads on it and they worked. So far everything is what i expected. Have not hooked to the house yet but i dont foresee any problems. Also. Remote start worked and was paired out of the box. Did not try the pull start methed but i did turn the engine over with the pull when i put the oil in it about 10 time and it spun the engine freely and smooth. Cant complain yet.
