There when we needed it!

We shopped around quite a bit before settling on this Westinghouse model. Though we bought it a couple of years ago, hiring a licensed electrician to do the connection for our home, this was the first time we needed it when a bad storm took out our power for three days. Started up great and so glad we chose the option that ran our whole house for 7-8 hours using a bbq size propane tank. Worth the investment.

Love My Generator

I bought mine about 3 years ago after I broke my shoulder and could no longer use the pull start on my older Westinghouse generator (which seemed to have a good resale value). This thing is amazing. I keep a full bottle of propane attached at night so that if it runs out of gasoline during the night, all I have to do is go out there and flip a switch, hit the start button, and I'm back in business. With the Texas power grid being highly questionable these days, it's a must have. It's gotten me through two major power failures so far. This thing is so easy to use, and the dual fuel feature is a major advantage.

Just unpacked, so no use yet, but have read other good reviews on the product. Frame was scratched a bit from shipping, but not to the point of being worth filing a claim.

I purchased the larger 9500DF model a few years back for cottage use, and we have been very pleased with its reliability. After a number of power failures at home, my son and I chose the 7500DF for our houses, based on the good performance of the 9500.

Nice easy to use generator

I purchased this to have in case of power outages. Have not used it yet. It has nice wheels and a handle which make it easy to move around. All the information to start is easy to understand. Just had a 30 amp plug added to the house so easy set up. I purchased this one because my brother recently bought one and is happy with it. So nice to use propane instead of gas for storage purposes.

Factory Spark Plug is trash

The 7500dfc shipped with a "LG" branded spark plug. The LG plug lasted about 4 hours of propane only break in. Replaced with a new spark plug upgrade and fires up on first push.
The manual diagrams do not match to order spare parts. If you go online to order the check out website has a wierd (077) area code reaking of spam/hacker. Purchased the ST Switch with the 7500DFC which is dead out of the box.

Duel fuel generator

I bought this westinghouse duel fuel 7500 watt generator a month ago. So far so good I have only ran it on gas, soon I will be trying it out on propane. Hopefully is last for many years ahead.
