Just received the generator- simple set up, add oil, connect propane, fired right up, hit the on switch and my test light bulb lit up- works as advertised.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy Set Up, Great having the dual fuel option

This is my first generator which seems to be a requirement down here in South Florida. The instructions are easy to follow and I had the machine running up in no time! I especially love the idea of running from propane and think it is a wonderful feature. The controls are easy to use and this is going to come in great after the next hurricane hits! Word of note, this thing is heavy! Don't try to move the box by yourself!

Just got this today and set it up. Assembly was extremely simple and the tools were included to boot. I have not yet fired it up, but when I do I will update this review

Received the generator recently.Though a senior citizen,I was able to assemble and attach wheels and legs. This required leaning the generator to a 60 degree angle.Oil fill was achieved ,though a bit awkward The included angled oil funnel is needed to accomplish this.The battery connection was made by removing the ties to the leads and pressing the ends of the leads together. Neat! A battery charger is included and was used.The indicator light turned green on full charge. Do read the instructions regarding its use.
The easy access gasoline tank was filled by leaning the gas can on a wooden support placed across the frame. I then could avoid taking the weight of the can on my arms. The manual included, clearly describes the steps needed to use this generator safely. Moving the generator away from the house took some effort.The machine moves well on its wheels. Once in a good position and level,all the appropriate necessary maneuvers were made. Then the electric start button was pushed and the machine started after a short interval. Later the remote start was also tested and the generator instantly responded.
Having successfully tested the gasoline mode, I decided next to use propane in the circuit . The manual is clear about the steps needed to be taken for a fuel change. Once again there was a rapid resonse, with the notor running smoothly. Very satisfacory.
I had not tested attachment to the electrician installed transfer switch ,and so it was the last run in my initial assessment .I connected the cable to the generator and to the rransfer switch and started the generator, powering some of the selected house circuits. All went well. The initial impression is that of a well made machine with dual fuel capability and having electric and remote start. Manual start is available,but I plan on not ever using that mode! As yet I have not tested the 120v output and the GFI circuits.
In time I am sure that this machine will prove to be a very reliable home backup with ample power for those occasions when outages occur.Reassessment at a later date after further use, before a fifth star is to be added.

After comparing and speaking with friends with generators I decided to purchase this model because of its features, price, and amazon favorite rating. I hope I won't be disappointed when the storms come. Very heavy
