I have no comments on use during an emergency, because I just received the generator. I was asked to leave a review and be compensated by a cover or power strip. No covers were available. My review basically covers unpacking and start-up. The unit was very easy to set up and the instructions were clear. I feel that's significant given the potential for damage resulting from incorrect set-up. After putting on the wheels, adding oil, connecting the battery and reading the start-up instructions, the generator started up with no drama. I would have liked more information about the oil. Instead of causing me to look for the sump capacity, they could have just said: "Dump the whole container into the engine." The funnel could have been a little more robust as well, but it ends up being a one-tine use thing. The generator is easy to move about the garage, appears to be well made, and starts easily.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This generator was easy to assemble and started on first try. The remote start is convenient and works from inside the house. The generator is well made and has a sturdy frame, which makes it easy to secure outside.

I love the dual fuel capacity and the remote electric start. Very easy to set up and start. I intend to hook it to my large outdoor propane tank, which would enable it to run for many days before refueling in the event of a power outage. Nice to not have to handle gasoline if you don't have to.
