It took about 15 minutes to prep, including mounting the wheels, fill with oil and gas, and connect the battery. It fired right up using the electric start and ran great. Such an improvement from our old pull start generator!

After receiving a brand new Generac that would not start, I took a deep breath and did research for plan B. Saw the wGEN7500DF and had a strong attraction just by the appearance, which was fortified after reading many positive reviews. Everything from the instructions to fact that it actually worked has been great. (started on first push of start button and key FOB remote, and first pull of recoil) I plan to switch to propane tomorrow and run some test loads at below 50% as instructed for break-in. I have other new Westinghouse products and am overall quite pleased. Time, of course will tell, but I just have a good feeling about this unit. Not too many people I have talked to are up on this brand for portable generator applications. I hope to change this by telling them about my experience.

Just purchased WGen7500DF. Set up was a breeze. Started with a push of the button. Really like the dual fuel option. Haven't really needed it yet, so I can't comment on the power output.

I bought this Westinghouse dual fuel generator to provide backup power to my house when we lose utility power during our annual wind storms. The generator was heavy but easy enough to put together and position. The parts all fit together nicely, and the manual provided clear instructions. I like that I can use propane as a fuel source, as I always have a tank on reserve and it's easier to transport safely than gasoline. I also appreciate how easy it was to ground the control panel when setting it up. I don't really want to lose power, but now at least I'm covered when I do.
