Directions need updating for the battery connection. The weld-on nuts for the mounting feet were not in line with the holes for three of the bolts, had to drill out to get alignment and install the feet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just what I needed

We were flooded by hurricane Sally and needed this generator as our power was lost for several days. The power provided by this generator is what we needed. We also had problems getting gasoline but not propane.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Portable Generator

Bought this to fill the need of a backup generator for the home. Will easily run my two refrigerators, chest freezer in addition to some of the comforts in the home that would a power outage more tolerable.

Easy to setup

This review is being left to receive a free cover. Simple to unbox and setup. Manual is pretty clear, while a bit repetitive. Got oil in it easy enough. Seems sturdy and well made. The alternator cover did come dented in but should be fine. Plan to try it out once the weather clears up.

I love this generator, made of steel, easy to operate, like the key fob, maintenance schedule is great, with the handle and wheels the generator its easy to move.
ONE THING; the instruction manual don't mention the connection of 2 plug connectors to the battery cables which will start the unit/if not connected the generator will not start, even thou the battery is charged.
