Well Packaged, Easy to Set Up

I just received my generator this week. Very Easy to Set. Looking forward to trying the Propane dual fuel feature. Like the easy battery disconnect. Battery was fully charged when received.

I used this generator for the first time last week. An ice storm took out our power for seven days. I can’t say enough good things about it this model. I was a novice and never used anything like this before but the manual explains everything very well. This model was great for running what I needed to keep life normal for my family. I was able to run lights, TV and internet around the clock and I alternated a couple of the larger appliances for a few hours at a time.. refrigerator, water heater, range, microwave, two deep freezers. I will say that I got much more runtime with gasoline than propane. Ten gallons of gasoline ran about 18-20 hours. It is still nice to have that option as propane will store for a long time. I highly recommend this model!

Outstanding 7500/9500W Dual Fuel Generator

I researched Generators for a few months and came up the the Westinghouse Wgen7500DF as the top of the line product. The Generator was delivered to the house. I opened the box and put on the wheels, mounting feet and added oil in about 10 minutes. I connected the battery and got the propane tank from the BBQ grill, hooked it up and positioned the fuel selector switch to propane. Flipped the main breaker to on, turned the run switch to on and pushed the start button. The generator started right up and within about 20 minutes of delivery of the generator the Dual Fuel 7500 was generating power. This product is outstanding as I was able to power the shop wet vacuum, the air compressor, some flood lights and charged my phone all at the same time. Since I am still in the break-in period I am only running about 3000 watts for the first 5 hours. The DF means this generator runs on Gasoline or Propane which is amazing since during a power outage the ability to run gasoline or propane is key to keeping you powered up. The insurance of having this generator to back up my house gives me real piece of mind, especially when the power companies ability to supply power 24/7 is not a guarantee. If you want the best generator on the market the Westinghouse DF generators is the one you got to have.
