Great generator with great features and ease of us

Very easy to set up and begin using. The features are great. Love the remote start - makes morning starts easy if you can turn it off at night in warmer weather.

The build quality and design are absolutely superb. This generator was purchased to provide emergency power for my family's home during extended power losses. I have great confidence in the reliability of this generator and that my family is now adequately prepared for emergencies with it.

good machine, very happy, but theres a card that was with the generator that says if you leave a review you get a free generator cover but when you go to the site to register it says they dont have anymore covers.

Wow! Love the features. BUT!!

The gasoline tank has an indent that was disguised by someone before shipping with a black marker. The Westinghouse Generator 7500DF would not manually start after setting it up referencing ALL the instructions. Turns out that until the starter-battery is fully charged, the auto-choke function seems to lock-out any hope of getting the thing to run with a manual pull-start. After six hours of charging the battery, the manual start did work. However, there is still not enough battery juice to turn the engine over for an electric start. Will keep charging and report the outcome to 855-944-3571. Love the idea and promise of a dual-fuel electric generator. If this works out to match the sales description, I will be very happy. I might even up-star my review, if I don't have further problems.

Step 6a clarifies how to manually set the choke during a cold start. During my initial run of the generator there were sparks arching to frame and generator would not shut down except by turning off propane tank valve. I thought sparks were coming from generator but later realized it was from motor housing . I checked kill switch black wire and sure enough the black wire bullet connector between the kill switch and motor had come unplugged. It was hidden by the sleeve over the bullet connector. I plugged in the bullet connector reconnecting the black wire joint and the generator worked perfectly. Now very happy with it , well built, many great features. Is very tolerant of propane pressure line losses in a long hose I have to 48 gal tank quick diconnect for grill 36 ft way. Just would recommend better quality control to make sure all wires firmly connected at factory.

Great options. Wife loves the remote and push button start options. Remote fob pairing is needed to use the fob. Read instructions. My son has already ordered the same generator.
