Bought this for emergency outages. Easy to set up and get working. The oil funnel is a bit short, but that’s an easy work around. Shipping was quick as well.

Not good using propane

No instructions for running on propane. Found I had to keep the choke full on to work (I think choke is faulty too) So seems to use a lot of propane until tank is half empty then it shuts off, start again runs for up to hour then shuts off, leaving 25% of the propane, I have to put on a new tank for it to work again
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this a month ago and it has been great. Moved into an area where the electric company shuts the power off from time to time. Bought this great piece of equipment and after added gas and oil, it works like a champ. Didn't break the bank too much and does what I need it to do. Will power up pretty much everything in your home. Highly recommend. A little heavy but nothing more two people can't handle to take this where you need it.

Just what I was looking for

Unit came with everything needed. Excellent instruction manual. It fired right up on first try, once it was hooked up to a propane tank. Now I don't have to be concerned with keeping cans of gasoline around.
