Great Generator!

Before purchasing this generator, I reviewed the many brands and choices in this category. This fit the bill with regards to dual fuel, power out-put and other features, including price. I placed the order with my local home improvement store. Was told it would be 7-10 days delivery. It arrived in just 4 days. Took it home and only had to mount wheels and feet, which took 10 minutes. Added the provided oil, hooked up 20lb propane tank and hit the remote start. Started immediately. Plugged into transfer switch outlet with the provided 30 amp cord. I have 10 circuits including well pump, a couple of refridgerators, and various outlets and switches. Turned on about everything in the house to test under load. No lag in the generator and no problems. Just waiting for the first power outage.

Great features at an affordable price

I did a lot of research before finally deciding to purchase this generator in November. I was surprised to find all the features and still stay within my price range. I have not had to use it yet, but the electrician was impressed and said it would more than meet my needs.

I finally talked my wife into being prepared for the next outage. Thankfully, it’s pretty rare, but very disruptive. This generator has a lot of great features, some of which may go unused, like the remote. My favorites are the dual fuel option and push button start. This will require a little battery upkeep but well worth it. When looking at many many different generator options, this seemed to really have the best options for the price. I do not have tens or hundreds of hours on it yet, but hope that it will be reliable. I will be running the critical household circuits (fridge, freezer, furnace, etc.) on this when needed. One thing that would be an improvement, is if the factory could etch the serial number somewhere discrete in case of theft. The paper label could be stripped quickly and easily.

Quiet generator at a great purchase

I purchased this generator after a lot of research. We live in an area that is subject to weather disrupting our electricity so I needed a dependable unit that had multi fuel sources. Our last outage also resulted in our local gas stations not have gasoline, and our local electric company was not giving us accurate information regarding power being restored. After experiencing several outages over the years, we decided that the uncertainty was stressful. We weren't crazy about running extension cords throughout the house or investing in a standby generator. This generator was a great solution. We have set up the capability to run most of our home using this generator and a transfer switch. We have run the generator several times during its break in period, and it is truly a relatively quiet unit. I have already recommended this setup to friends who live in the area. Great solution at a relatively economic price.
