Wow! Love the features. BUT!!

The gasoline tank has an indent that was disguised by someone before shipping with a black marker. The Westinghouse Generator 7500DF would not manually start after setting it up referencing ALL the instructions. Turns out that until the starter-battery is fully charged, the auto-choke function seems to lock-out any hope of getting the thing to run with a manual pull-start. After six hours of charging the battery, the manual start did work. However, there is still not enough battery juice to turn the engine over for an electric start. Will keep charging and report the outcome to 855-944-3571. Love the idea and promise of a dual-fuel electric generator. If this works out to match the sales description, I will be very happy. I might even up-star my review, if I don't have further problems.

Step 6a clarifies how to manually set the choke during a cold start. good machine, very happy, but theres a card that was with the generator that says if you leave a review you get a free generator cover but when you go to the site to register it says they dont have anymore covers.

Undoubtable Quality

The build quality and design are absolutely superb. This generator was purchased to provide emergency power for my family's home during extended power losses. I have great confidence in the reliability of this generator and that my family is now adequately prepared for emergencies with it.

Great generator with great features and ease of us

Very easy to set up and begin using. The features are great. Love the remote start - makes morning starts easy if you can turn it off at night in warmer weather.

Bought this to replace a 30 year old generator. The dual fuel option is great for short uses. No more worries about the carb being stopped up after it sets a while. Also love the remote start.

Nice Generator

I just recently purchased the WGen7500DF. It was shipped to my residence on time and there was no damage. The generator only required assembling the wheels and feet. After reviewing the owners manual I put gas and oil into the machine, connected the battery and the machine started on the second push of the electric start button. I let the machine run for about 15 minutes and it ran great. Pretty quite for a generator. Haven’t tried the propane yet so I can’t comment on that. I am confident that this generator will work well for my house hold needs and during power outages in some bad winter storms.

Easy Setup

This generator was a breeze to set up. There are only a few simple tasks to complete, and it’s ready to run. Since I’ll primarily be using it with propane, I didn’t even have to go through the mess of adding gasoline.
I’ll now have peace of mind when our next power outage hits.
