Best balance of options, price and durability

Bought in Nov 2020, used several times over the past few months already. The remote start is awesome, the auto start works great. I wanted a Honda, just could not justify paying 3 times as much.

Easy to use

Easy to use and starts right up. Only issue I had was that the battery cable was disconnected when it arrived but was zip-tied together making it look as though it was connected. Once I figured out the problem and properly connected the battery it started right up.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've had the generator for two months now and its worked Exceptionally well . I really like the Remote Start . I use oxygen 24/7 and can't be running outside to start a generator when the power goes down .

Big upgrade from my 10 yr old Coleman 6500

I bought this generator mainly to use Propane and get away from storing gas in my garage. This generator is Great. Operation is easy, packed with features, relatively quiet and purrs like a kitten. I hooked up my propane tank and it started on the second try. I just finished a load test with all eligible breakers in the on position. It never even hick-cupped. Loaded with features and controls that are easy to understand. Battery start, remote start, auto second attempt retry on failed start. Display that shows volts, freq. and lifetime run hours. I only just got it, but am very pleased and look forward to reliable service and great Westinghouse Warranty and Support.

Failed when we needed it most

Initial setup was nice and easy. Unfortunately when the first power outage came along the generator ran great for about 4 hours, then shut itself down. After that it would run for 10-15 minutes then shut down again. This was while running on propane with about 4000 watts of load. Half a tank of propane left, was plenty to run my BBQ for a few weeks. Support tried blaming the refrigerator. Guess I am on my own with a huge paperweight out of return window. Maybe I got a bad one, but you may want to avoid this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this to replace an ancient 240V Craftsman generator for the purposes of serving as a backup when we lose power during a rainstorm (since I need to be able to continue running my sump pumps to prevent flooding). The main requirement was a dual fuel option since I didn't want to have to stabilize and store gasoline for the few times a year that I need to hook the generator up to my home's transfer switch. I appreciated the fact that the manual included clear and easy directions to float the neutral for my use case.
At this point, I've only tested the Westinghouse once and things worked perfectly, running off propane. Here's to hoping it serves me well the first time I really need to use it.
