Bought this after losing power for 5 days with two little ones. Very stressful.
The unit is solid. I’m a little worried about leaving the unit on so the remote start will work in case the battery drains out. Should probably get a spare.

I got this for my 90 year old mom. Seriously... push button start, dual fuel, now worries for me until I get to her house and switch it over to gas. I'm a retired Electrical Enginer so all she has to do is turn off the Main Breaker, Flip the transfer and push a button.

Have not run the generator yet yet but is exactly what I need to power a mini-split AC unit and other fixtures during a power outage. I trust the Westinghouse brand over any other.

Once set up - Very easy to start -

I purchased this Generator at the end of August, set it up this past weekend, had a question about it, called Westinghouse and they answered right away and took care of my concern. I checked everything out, showed my wife how to start it and she was so happy, no longer pulling that cord and the fact that we can use propane or gasoline is GREAT. We will never be without power

Great Features and No-Hassel Setup

I carefully researched portable generators before I purchased this Westinghouse WGen7500DF generator. I wanted a duel fuel model and this was one of the best rated. It has remote start too, at no extra charge. Assembly was easy, I only had to mount the wheels and two feet. The User Manual was one of the best I've seen; it was well written with clear pictures and it covered every aspect of set-up, operation
and maintenance. The generator came with a LP hose and regulator, battery and charger (with some brands the battery is extra!) oil and tools. After I hooked up the LP gas line it started right up. It has electric start, just push the button which automatically cranks the motor and starts the machine. (you don't have hold the Start button down) I also liked that it had an LED meter which can be cycled to show Voltage, Frequency and Runtime.The warranty is also one of the longest to cover parts and labor. I'm very pleased I bought this product and I would recommend it to others.
