Excellent quality & perfect self-start accessory

We bought our Westinghouse WGEN7500DF generator because it was dual fuel capable and a great deal in our price range. We also bought it because Westinghouse at the time was the only manufacturer that had a Smart Portable Transfer Technology ST Switch that plugs directly into the generator and can automatically start the generator when it detects that the house has lost power. These were all very important features to us.

My initial impression of the Westinghouse 7500/9500 generator is positive. Set up was easily accomplished.
The instruction manual could be laid out in a better organized fashion, but is effective.
I'd like to update the evaluation in about 3 months after using the product in diverse conditions.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I just purchased this generator. Brought it home, unboxed it, attached the wheels and filled it with oil. Everything, including a funnel was included. The generator started very easily and was shocked at how quiet it was compared to other generators I have used. Everything looks as though it was well thought out and made of quality materials. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Well built and runs great

Other than a few things to attach. Added oil and gas and it fired right up. With the influx of people moving to the area our electric company is running at full capacity. At the very least I will be able to keep my freezer and refrigerator running. I plan on adding a transfer switch to run the house in the future. We have been hoping to get a generator for years now. With all good reviews and the duel fuel options we are now ready and confident to face the outages when they come. I am so impressed how well it is built, I have no doubt about it durability.

Great power packed generator

I bought this generator for hurricane season. I haven't had to use it yet but I am happy that it is compact enough so that I can move it around without to much effort. I love that it is dual fuel and comes with a battery tender so it will be ready to start when needed. I consider it a great investment. I hope to have it for many years.
