Recently bought for an elderly friend to use in case of emergency. Works great, easy for our elderly friend to use and runs all of the circuits that the transfer switches operate without a hitch

I JUST BOUGHT THIS AS HOME POWER BACKUP. IT WAS DELIVERED ON TIME, CAME WITH EVERYTHING I ORDERED AND STARTED RIGHT UP. SO FAR VERY PLEASED.

Very easy to set up

I have only just got this generator and have never owned 1 before.
It is very heavy but when the wheels are attached it is easy to move around.
You have to add the engine oil and the dipstick is terrible, so it is hard to know when enough is in. I really liked the battery disconnect which allows you to unplug the battery easily and add a battery tender with standard connector. The generator has a pull cord start if the battery is flat.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is one of those items that you wish never to use, but nice to know it’s there if needed at the flip of a switch (or remote Start better still)!

Easy setup and running

Generator received in excellent condition, literally traveling cross country from Westinghouse warehouse in Nevada to Massachusetts. Setup was quick and easy, ready to go in about 30 minutes. Electrician previously wired outlet box to panel with interlock kit, so I was able to test out the machine same day. Started up on second try using 30# propane tank, and was able to test out the various circuits to determine loads on each. Other than central air and electric range, basically ran the whole house; refrigerator, oil furnace, washer, dryer (w/d not at same time) etc. More than pleased with unit, and know we will be using soon as we are in a rural area surrounded by trees, so any wind or snow, we have issues. One important point is to be sure to check with your electrician if you are connecting direct to panel as you may need to disable the ground jumper on the generator as it comes setup up with the neutral bonded to ground and you may need to change to a floating neutral. This is easy to do and explained in the manual. This I had to do because of the GFCI setup in my panel.
