I'm unable to start electronically, but started it with the pull cord. it took lot of pulls with the propane but started. I charged the battery overnight & it still will not start electronically. must be a bad battery or something else.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this generator about a week ago and I was impressed how easy it was to assemble and operate. I used both gas and propane and had no issues. Excellent product.

I bought the generator last week and it would not start. The battery seemed dead and it would not start. I tried to contact Westinghouse Outdoor Power and the phone kept disconnecting. I finally got connected and Jathy informed me the battery was disconnected and how to connect it. He said he get 5-6 calls like this a day. the starter worked and the battery seems okay.
