Very Well Built

I just purchased this and was very impressed with the build quality. Assembly and set up was very easy. Initial start up was flawless. I have not used it long term but so far I am very happy. Spoke to my electrician to have a transfer switch installed and he said that Westinghouse is the only brand he recommends.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ordered on Sat 7/25/2020 - Delivered on Friday 7/31/2020 - liftgate service and packaging was in excellent shape - delivered as promised. I didn't think I'd need it as soon as I did - so hadn't assembled it - but had to assemble and use during throes of storm Isaias. Lost power afternoon on Tuesday 8/4 - assembled that afternoon -and ran continuously ( using gasoline ) until power restored on afternoon Thursday 8/6 - running extensions from generator to house ( 48+ hrs ). Ran using gasoline. Did not get a chance to use propane feature.
Unit came with battery cables already connected but this model must have been redesigned and now has a pigtail connection to starter/alternator case which needs to be connected which isn't included in the "ASSEMBLY/CONNECTING THE BATTERY" section of manual. Push button electric start used and unit fired up. Have not tried to start using manual recoil.

Great unit for small home

Wired to whole house, with energy draw only of 6kw using summer air. Will run on propane, live in a new development, and hope to never have to use it. Unit is well made.. I’m very happy with the $ value.

I been looking for a generator for over a year and decided on the Westinghouse. It arrived quickly and was well packaged . Upon inspection it appears to be well built. So far I'm very happy with and have had zero problems.
