Great generator, loads of great features and lots of power. In my off-grid home, the power is all handled by the inverter/transfer switch/battery charger. This piece of equipment can pump out 120 amps to the battery bank at times, so you need a generator that can handle the load. This one does that job easily, add in a fridge, deep freeze, a couple of window AC units, and other miscellaneous electrical appliances, and it had no problem taking it all on at the same time. On LP or gasoline, both fuels work flawlessly. One caveat though, you will most likely freeze up a 20lb fuel cylinder before you empty it, best to use a 30lb or, better yet, acquire a longer hose with a POL connection regulator on it and hook into a 100lb cylinder, that is my plan. 80 hours on the meter so far, and I can't say anything bad about it so far. It is as loud as you would expect a gen this size to be, and uses fuel at the rate you would expect from an engine this size as well. That means it is relatively loud and thirsty, and that is to be expected. If you want quiet and not as thirsty, you will need to spend 3x as much and get an inverter generator, that was never in my plan, so I know what I was getting into from the start, and I am quite happy with it.

Love the dual fuel capability and capacity to handle 10 key circuits in my house as a backup power source.

It took a 9 days from the date of order to my driveway. Condition was fine. It's a heavy device and requires two man lift. Installing the wheels and padded feet took about 2 minutes. I plugged in the battery, added the supplied oil and added a gallon of non-ethanol gas. I also turned the fuel on, flipped the on/off switch to on, pressed the start button and the starting cycled three times and then it started. Three times to get the fuel to the carburetor. The choke was automatic. Ran through one heat cycle. Ran great and quiet. Using it this weekend while at Diamond Lake Oregon.
