Easy to use!

I bought this a few months ago. I haven't had to use it, but after I had my electrician wire everything for use it took less than 2 minutes to get this thing running and powering my ENTIRE 2,600+ sq ft house besides the central AC and electric dryer (per electrician's recommendation). I am no longer worries about losing power up here in New England thanks to this purchase.

Great Generator for the money!

My wife and I purchased this Generator for the total and peak wattage. The price was right for what we needed. Purchased back in June of 2019. Just got around to setting it up due to PG&E doing PSPS outage. I had not yet set it up to feed into our panel. So, I was using extension cords to power my appliances. It replaced a Champion 3500/4000 genie in use until this one got fired for the first time. It is a little louder than the previous one which is to be expected.
The main drawback for me is I kept tripping the GFCI on the 20A 120V outlets. So I called the tech support line and was speaking to a live body in the USA with a few minutes. Come to find out: The 120V outlets only provide 2400 running watts each. So I was not getting even the 7500W divided by two. No wonder I was tripping the GFCI protection.
Other than the above, I like this generator. It fired up easily the first time using the electric start (follow the directions boys and girls). The keyfob remote even worked well. I like that you just push the button once and it repeats the start cycle until it fires. The auto choke appears to work well. Well built unit and easy to assemble.
Don't hesitate to purchase. Just know the 120V outlets only give you 2400 running watts each. If you are looking for higher wattage, you have to run a transfer switch or back feed breaker into the panel.
Disclaimer: Make sure if you run a back feed breaker you install a cutoff switch so you don't fry someone up the line working to restore your power. Always use or seek the advise of a licensed electrician. Install any electrical wiring in your home to local codes.

Received in a timely manner. No damage upon inspection. Easy to follow instructions. Hooked it up to a transfer switch,and away we go ! This generator powers all of the items that we need when the juice goes down in the foothills, including our well pump. After the first tank of propane, I hooked it up to the house propane system. No more trips to the hardware store ! We have run this generator from 5am to 11 pm daily for the last 4 days without any problems.
