We bought this tody to be a back up for power outages. This unit is well built and out of the box add oil and gas and it is ready to use

Its a Westinghouse!

My 7500DF arrived today in pristine condition. Only took a couple of minutes for assembly, fuel and oil fill up and a cursory review of the comprehensive manual. Cranked on the 2nd start up attempt on gas and ran like a top. Ran it for an hour without load for break-in. A lot quieter than expected based on prior reviews. This is not as loud as my 48" riding mower! Shut it down and allowed it to cool a bit and hooked up the propane. Started on the 1st push of the remote start. I let it run an hour and hooked up my air compressor. There was no indication the generator was under load from the sound of the motor. Compressor filled up a normal. I shut down the generator and slid it into it's cubby in the garage. WOW! I am impressed. Now to study the manual and await the coming storm. Thanx Westinghouse for the fine product. I will follow this up when it gets more use. I expect that to be soon.

Great product

I bought this a week ago. Arrive with no apparent shipping damage. After opening no problems seen. After following set up instructions generator started right up on first attempt. Great features. Easy to use but heavy and hard to move around due to weight. Wheels and handle help a lot.

The wheels and handle make it very movable, no flats. I believe having this option will be beneficial in the years to come.

I received this product as a gift and only recently assembled it for use. To date, thankfully, I have not needed to utilize it. Setup requirements were very minimal and took less than 15 minutes.
My only gripe with the product is with the instructions, which I wish were more clear on the requirement for a ground and not simply point you to "consult a qualified electrician." Perhaps some instructions on how to ground the generator as well as a pointer link, table, etc. that allows easy reference to applicable codes.

Ready To Go Out of The Box

I moved to Oklahoma several years ago and we have lots of ice storms. I purchased the generator online. It arrived quickly - just before another ice storm - and I was able to remove it from the box and within 5 minutes I was ready for whatever mother nature sent our way.
