add oil add fuel connect battery thats it

works well good value easy to prepare for operation . a quick note on extreme cold weather you must manually put the choke on full for start up also spark plug gap must be .024 inch it was .040 inch . if you check all this it works great

After losing electricity after a wind storm I finally made the decision to buy a generator. After much research settled on Westinghouse; WGEN7500DF. I like that it runs on both gas and propane. It didn't want to start with the gas so we started it with propane and then switched to the gas and it kept running. We stopped it and then started it with gas and it started right up. SO far, so good!

Works Well

I bought this a year ago. Finally got a generator transfer switch installed. Started it 3 times this summer. Winter - everything seems great except the auto choke does not seem to be working. Will tackle in the spring with warranty.

Purchase of this product was the best thing for our prepping goals. Living in the southeastern Usa, we have heavy storms and tornadoes throughout the year, with power outage possibilities this generator gives us peace of mind to know that our produce and meats will not spoil.
