Just what I needed

I bought this generator because of how good a reputation Westinghouse has with their equipment. Price was just right for what I wanted. This generator will run my entire house during a power failure. Very easy to use and not terribly loud. The only issue I have is not with the generator itself, but with the documentation that comes with it. In the "Replacement Parts" manual, the item numbers in the pictures do not match up with the parts lists. This could be very confusing if needing to order parts. Overall very satisfied.

I live in California. Its fire season and the wind has been blowing. The electric companies are tried of getting blamed for the fires so they have been shutting off power to customers during wind storms. I think it is going to be the way of the future as a preventative. This year our power has been shut off 7 times, once for 3 days. The refrigerator was starting to warm up. Lucky it is a cooler month. Now with this good size generator I can keep both my refrigerators cool and run a few other items as needed. We are prepared now!

Peace of mind

After two weeks of no power and no water (well pump) due to Hurricane Helene, we never want to experience that again. This generator will power our well pump, heat pump, refrigerator, and lights. That peace of mind for this price is a great value!

Great features and abilities

Generator is well-built and has functioned well so far. This review was input during the registration process, so at this point I can only give 4 (and a half) stars as I haven't tried it with gasoline (and may never - propane for now) and it's only ran an hour total during two start-ups ... also meaning at half capacity during the 5 hour break-in, so it's not yet been put to the full test/rigors. The one very minor knock is that it came with a Replacement Parts List booklet that doesn't fully match the actual model, so per the parts department you have to call in and/or go online to review the correct diagrams and matching parts until new corrected booklets come out maybe in the fall of 2025.

I bought this ,this week.After reading the the user manual the assembly of the the generator was very simple, took less then 45 minutes to assemble. Also was happy to see the kit and a hose for propane and a quart of oil all included and tools needed to assemble. Love the starter gives three attempts automatically. It started the propane on the third sequence, dials easy to understand.Ran smoothly,easy hook-up for propane.The remote starter was another plus.The meter showing hours great asset for preventive maintenance. Great product.
