Purchased for backup so it will not be used frequently. Instructions are clear. Have only used gasoline to try it out. Curious to see how it performs with propane.

My Second Westinghouse Generator - Great Features

This is my second Westinghouse generator. My first one was a pull start and I now have a health issue with my back, and although in summer weather it pulls easy to start, in winter at frigid cold temperatures and it being kept in a shelter outside, it pulled too hard for me. So I sold it and ordered an electric / battery start. Another bonus is that it can be started with a FOB and also this one is dual fuel whereas the former one was gas only. It covers all my home energy requirements in the event of a power failure and I now have two fuel types as options.

I've been using this generator for a week and I can't say enough about it. Plenty of power using propane. Will try gasoline when/if prices come down.

Just got mine delivered about two hours ago. Everything intact, instructions easy to follow. Started easily within first few seconds. Control panel nicely configured. Everything easily identified. Don't doubt this will meet, even exceed, my expectations.

Ready for the heat

I bought this to power my home should we have a power outage this summer. It's big enough for the job and has plenty of features, such as batter starter and all the receptacle configurations I might need. The assembly and startup instructions are clear and easy to perform. This machine has everything you might want in a generator -- and if gas gets too expensive I can go with propane. The machine comes with a quart of oil, a bag of tools and even a remote starting fob! I'm ready for anything when this summer.

I have been very happy with the propane power option and the electric and remote starts. It was somewhat difficult to start manually though.

Great generator at a great price

Bought this model a couple days ago during a power outage as our generator was 14 years old and kinda small. Our new Westinghouse generator is awesome! We had a 10,000 btu air conditioner, refrigerator/freezer, chest freezer, 50" plasma tv, sound bar, internet modem, 2 laptops, a couple lights and a box fan all running at the same time and this generator ran strong, no issues and had plenty of power left for more. If I had to list a down side it would be a little loud, but being almost twice as big as our other one might be the reason why. Easy to assemble and electric start worked flawlessly. Highly recommend!!
