Great features/value

I had been looking for a remote/electric start dual fuel generator for quite some time. This thing is going to make things so much easier for my family and I at our cabin. I did notice some rough welds/seams, a bunch of stickers on the engine behind the control panel, and some really sharp edges on/around the oil fill neck. I'm also going to have to work on the battery cables, as they stick pretty far out. Otherwise the quality, features and specs are a good value for the money.

This is really a great generator. Easy start either by the pull handle or electric.
I have owned several generators in the past but this one is a winner!!

Great Feature

I bought the unit in 2021 but never ran it till 3/15/25. By the time I got around to starting it the battery was dead but I was amazed at how easy it turned over with the pull start. After it started it ran like a top for hours!

Great but frequency is 63Hz

I like everything about this except my furnace motor won’t start. It repeatedly tries. I measured at motor and it sags to 118v, which is fine. But the frequency is 63Hz. Is there any calibration?

Solid and good features

I bought this 7500dfc in January so that I can hook up my well pump in addition to everything else my old generator could run. I love the dual fuel capability. Running on propane it acted hiccuppy and reluctant at first (backfiring and failing to start after working initially), but seems to have smoothed out. No issues with running on gasoline experienced. I especially love the electric start. I normally go for simple and basic, but something about just pressing that button made my shoulder smile. I haven't had to actually use the generator yet, other than making sure it runs, but it has everything I need, plus. And it's a bit quieter than my other one. I'll have to come up with a good enclosure for it while it's running, or I think the co shutoff will cause issues. Bonus: it comes with an actual manual, and it has real, specific, useful information.

Exactly what I was looking for...

Easy set up directions, minimal assembly required, fired right up and ran perfectly right out of the box. Let is sit for a month in the garage, pulled it out, gassed it up, and started instantly. Great product, so impressed I subsequently bought a Westinghouse power washer and had the exact same experience. One caveat, this thing is HEAVY, so get help putting it in and taking it out of your vehicle!
