Gas Power now working

Although frustrated with buying the generator and it now working right out the box. Once I contacted Westinghouse and worked through several issues, namely cleaning the carburetor and slightly tapping the gas solenoid to release the pin; the generator finally started. Where the generator failed I feel the costumer service was outstanding. Thank you for the help.

First Class Quality for a Great Price

I searched reviews for a lot of portable generator brands for a month before deciding on the Wgen7500DF. I just received my Wgen7500DF today and the quality, price and easy set up is 2nd to none. You get a lot of bang for your buck with this Westinghouse generator and there are many wattage sizes to meet your need. I am extremely pleased and satisfied.

In a time where rolling brown outs and scheduled blackouts, it is very reassuring to have such a quality generator at my disposal. Very happy I purchased it!

Gas Power not Working

Opened my new WGen7500 DF today. Went through all the steps to setup and prepare to start my brand new generator. Found out it wouldn’t start. Went through a troubleshooting phone call with a Westinghouse rep, who got the generator started using propane. But after hanging up with him and attempting to switch to gas the generator failed again. I was told I need to clean my gas solenoid, which isn’t easy to remove. Very disappointed with Westinghouse, wish I wouldn’t have bought it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A Versatile Unit

The Westinghouse WGen7500DF generator exceeded my expectations. Its versatility was right on par with my family's needs. Its ability to run on two different types of fuel was a game changer. Now I can meet the emergency power requirements of my home via a transfer switch.
