I purchased an original generator in February through Home Depot. After getting the generator delivered it was found to have significant shipping damage. We contacted the GE Customer service line and was offered replacement parts or that they would work with Home Depot to replace the machine. This is the replacement which arrived in less than 3 weeks from the original purchase. This generator was delivered in very good condition. Assembly was easy and straight forward. At this time it runs well on a test and seems to be what we were looking for. Intended use is for backup power to our home since we experience frequent outages during rough weather.
Just got it and it's running out in the shed as I do this review. I know it's brand new, but so far nothing but kudos to Westinghouse. Very quiet, much quieter than my old Coleman 5K, and running everything in the house except the 220v stuff. Everywhere I look I see quality. Came delivered on its own skid and in pristine condition. If you are thinking of buying a generator, look no further...

Hi Wolfie,
Glad to see you're enjoying your upgrade! It's a no brainer choice for dependable home power to cover those big appliances and small electronics with its transfer switch ready outlets.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a revie! Have a great day!
Hi, synthetic blend oil10W30 could be used instead of conventional oil 10W30?

Hi Marcos,
Yes, you can absolutely use synthetic blend SAE 10W30! We actually recommend using synthetic over conventional for optimal engine performance. If you have anymore questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to us at info@wpowereq.com.
This unit was purchased as a standby unit in the case of a power loss for the entire house. Impressed with the unpacking and inspection of the unit. Appears to be well and should fit the bill.
