1 unboxed the unit which was packed very well. Assembly was easy, gassed it up oil was added. I removed the spark plug and pulled the manual cord just toget things inside moving and lubed. Reinstalled spark plug, turned on fuel, set choke, moved switch to run. hit start button but the battery (which had cables attached at the factory) was not charged enough to turn unit over. 2 pulls on the manual cord and it fired right up. Very happy so far.
Just finished assembling the wheels and feet. Added oil. Nothing complicated. Have not started the unit yet but the unit appears well made and heavy duty. Will follow up after first use.
After spending a month of reading reviews and manufacture hiccups I decided to give the Westinghouse 9500 a chance. Its has been amazing. I've owned this generator for 6 months now and it runs everyday without an issue. I recommend this unit 100%. very well made in the USA.
Bought home was easy to install wheels and front legs added oil, charged battery and started right up , tried it out worked great will know beter when power goes out and used more.
I purchased this item after much research into generators. It seems like every time we get a storm lately the power goes out. I have a well so that means I lose water along with everything else. I am having a 50amp plug installed and a switch so that I can run my whole house. No more worries about power going out.
