Great generator!

I have been wanting to bug a Generator for years. I wish I had done this sooner. I am very pleased with the Westinghouse wgen9500. Also shipping was so fast- I expected 2-3 weeks abs 4 days later I got a call that it was ready to deliver. Should’ve done this years ago!

More than I expected

My first impressions of this generator were better than I would have thought. I thought the build would have been cheaper looking in person, and a general low quality, but to my surprise this gen is more like the premium ones you can buy for 3 times this cost! Another thing that blows me away is the sound level. Construction style generators like this are generally loud and obnoxious, I’ve own 3 10+ horsepower generators that have been too loud and embarrassing to use next to your neighbor. They must be doing mufflers different now because the Westinghouse 9500 is not necessarily quiet, but definitely do-able for the neighbors. I can speak just over normal volume and have a casual conversation next to it while it’s running. I love it! So glad I bought it!

LOVE the remote start

I love the remote start with this generator. We have it about 6 feet from our kitchen window and the noise is barely noticeable. The remote will start it from inside the house. We chose to have our house wired so when the power goes out I can plug this in and use it. Our house is just under 4000 square feet and it is strong enough to handle our kitchen, office, and master suite.

Recently purchased , but have not used it. I will start it and run it when weather warms up. It will be needed when power goes out to run my refergerator - freezer - water pump, etc.

Super easy setup and long running

I purchased this generator over a month ago and finally decided to take it out of the box and get it set up. Over night the power went out and stayed out for over 2 days. The set up was VERY easy and in no time at all we were up and running.

Powerful with many features

Very happy with this generator. 10 minutes to assemble, including filling the supplied oil. Well written instructions, along with parts diagram and wiring schematic.
Not a big deal, but the supplied oil funnel should have a larger mouth and much larger exit, to prevent spilling.
