Love the features.

Love the fact I can use gasoline and LP gas to run generator. I live in a rural setting and it makes it more convenient to keep fuel on hand. The fact that you can switch from one to the other while still makes it even more desirable.

I took delivery, installed the wheels, put in the oil and gas and fire it right up first try. So far it has been perfect.

Larger portable generator

I bought this larger generator to pretty much provide power to the whole house without the expense of buying a permanent one. After receiving and assembling I added oil and just enough fuel to try things out. I installed a manual transfer switch and 50 amp receptacle between my disconnect panel and my house breaker box so I'm never energizing the utility meter while using my Generator. Dont have a lot of use on Generator but the initial trial serviced the house with several lights on, refrigerator running, Electric oven and electric dryer all on at the same time with no issues. Now if the electric water heater was in use also there would probably be more drag on the generator so I imagine I would still have to monitor my usage but time will tell. Rated 4 stars only because dont have a lot of time of use yet.

First time generator buyer

Great product, great instructions on putting together with supplied tool kit. Easy and only took 10 minutes. Put the supplied oil in and gas in the tank. used the remote start and it fired right up. We are now ready for the power outages from the storms.

Reading other customers reviews, I chose this brand and size. It has the running wattage I need to power up the HVAC unit from which my previous north star 8500 would not.

I just bought the generator replacing my 35-year-old generator. Out of the box it started right-up. I think it will carry the load of my home in Central Florida. My AC is 5280w, might have to shut off the W/H so I can keep refrigerator running. Doing load test tomorrow.
