Easy to start!

I lost power a month ago when a tree in front of my house took down the line to it. I had to borrow my neighbors generator. I consider myself to be fairly strong, but I couldn’t start it on my own. I was afraid of running out of gas in the middle of the night. So I’d have to stop it late at night and ask someone to start it in the morning. I knew that I wanted one, but it needed to be a push start. I found this model online after doing some research. I’m so glad that I bought it. There’s not going to be anymore worrying about loss of power. It’s push button and 9500 watts of running power. Great price too. Love it!

Everything I expected and more!

After being disappointed with another brand of comparable size, I decided after reading 2 independant reviews of the top 5 and top 10 portable 12K generators to
purchase the Westinghouse WGen9500 (which is 12K start up). The attention to detail was the first thing I noticed as I unboxed it. After attaching the wheels and
base legs and putting the oil (which was supplied) in the crankcase, and 1 gallon of gas in tank, I pushed the electric start button. It took between 2-3 seconds to start and ran smoothly. The first thing I noticed was the quietness for this size generator.
I have 2 smaller generators and it is quieter than either. The remote start feature
is really nice. I went in the house which is 40 yds from my shop, hit the button and it started immediatley. Hooked a load to it and it performed flawlessly. I bought it for power back for my home but have not hooked it to transfer power and test it yet, since I have only had it a few days. It is also very easy to move and manuever with the big wheels and handle. I am very impressed and would recommend it to anyone who needs this size generator.

Received the generator this morning and within an hour it was up and running! Detailed instruction manual was clearly written. I can't wait to try the remote start and down the road I'm going to use the Transfer feature which was one of the selling points for me. Great job Westinghouse!
