I bought this generator to back up select loads in my house when the power goes out. This thing is awesome, push button start, key fob start, plenty of power! I researched generators for a while before pulling the trigger, landed on this one because of the 50a receptacle.

I bought this recently as an upgrade to present generator. This added double wattage and 50 Amp outlet. Electric start works well. This unit has outstanding reviews. Very glad I purchased.

Plenty of Dependable Power

I live in Florida, and I was tired of not having enough power during outages to run my air conditioner, two refrigerators and a freezer. So I decided to upgrade my generator. The WGEN9500 has enough muscle to use a power panel interlock (rather than a more costly transfer switch) so that I can choose run any circuit in my home during the outage. Some may find this more inconvenient than using a transfer switch, however, this setup works well for me. My unit came well packaged, was easy to assemble; just the wheels and 2 feet. After putting in the oil with the funnel (both supplied) and connecting the battery then filling with 87 octane fuel (regular) it fired right up and tested out perfectly. I look forward to many years of dependable backup power from my new Westinghouse generator.
