Powerful unit

I bought this to use as a backup for my house. I can run everything but the electric heat. We lose power about once a month and the previous generator finally died. I’ve used a couple times now and it doesn’t seem to have to work.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Arrived safely packed and complete

Well packed for shipment and complete with a charged battery and a bottle of engine oil. Took less than 10 minutes to unpack and add wheels and feet. Added gas and connected battery plug, then hit the starter button - ran immediately.
Tried hand starting, and it fired with the second pull.

Great investment!

Wouldn't you know that when you buy a generator your power outages go down... haha! Didnt need to use it for months, but when we did it started right up.... after my husband remembered to turn the gas back on it, 5 minutes later..lol!
We ran a heavy extension cord into the house, then off that a heavy splitter to run fridge, microwave, lamp, and TV. No where near the capacity this generator can handle. When the fridge cycled on, the generator didn't bog down at all.
We've had a lot of power outages from 20 minutes to 9 days, this will definitely make things easier.

Excellent piece of equipment

Easy to finish the assembly, and nice to have the proper engine oil and funnel sent with the unit. Push button start is so much better than the old pull start. Glad to have this equipment on site before the hurricane season starts. I very much like the fact the manual has instructions for valve adjustments and basic maintenance. Runs well.

I bought this generator over 2 years ago due to COVID concerns. I have ran it occasionally since just to keep the battery fresh and use some gas. Yesterday we had a serious storm come through and experienced a power outage. I needed my generator for about 8 hours, and it performed flawlessly.

I would probably give this five stars if I had had opportunities to use it yet. I just had my electrician hook up my generator to the power outlets as required. I am thrilled to know that when a power outage occurs I can easily roll my generator outside, away from my home, using the attached handled cart. It also gives me peace of mind to know that there is an electric start or key fob available when time comes to start the generator. A trusted name I grew up with, Westinghouse, is another comfort for me in making this purchase. Living in the Northeast makes me sure that
when Old Man Winter comes my way, I will be ready with my new Westinghouse portable generator! Ladies, if I can do this, you can too.
