WGen9500 Lots of Great Features

I bought this generator three days ago and really like the features. Westinghouse - WGen9500 comes with very good setup instructions and a nice user manual. I cannot report on how it will operate in the future, but I am super happy now.

WGen9500 works like a charm

Bought generator to provide backup energy in case of power outages. I am super happy with purchase. This unit has been super reliable, with so many features available to end user. I couldn’t be happier and can’t recommend it enough. Customer for life!

Started right up

Started up no problem. Love the 50 amp plug, going to install inlet and breaker lockout. Enough power for my whole house. Outlet covers, battery charger, smart switch accessory, nice rubber legs, very well built product.

Poor quality construction, support to match

Motor stopped running after a few hours of use ( oil and gas are fine , thanks). Will not restart , and the “emergency recoil starter “ cord will not pull at all . Control panel lights indicate CO detected but the unit was running out doors with no obstructions. Support for this unit is very sub-par . Do NOT waste your money on the WGen9500.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Westinghouse is the name that I have been able to rely on for many many years. You can never go wrong with the Westinghouse product. The generator we purchased was one more addition to our westinghouse items. Stick with a trusted band.
