This thing fits the bill. I am using it for intermittent power outages and it powers everything we need. It was packed well and showed up looking new like it should. Added the oil, used the included battery charger to top the battery off. Gave it some gas and it fired up right away. Its not excessively noisy for the price and size, it runs very smoothly. All the controls work well and the remote is a nice extra.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy setup, started right up!

came as described. Packaging was sturdy, install and instructions were easy to follow. Once I put in oil and fuel, I hit the start button and generator fired right up. Bought this as upgrade to 22 year old smaller generator. Feel confident this new generator will provide plenty of power. Push button start is also a great feature.

Remote Start Sold Me!

I have not had a chance to use the generator for a power outage, but in setting it up and starting/stopping it definitely seems like it'll fit the bill. I'm actually kind of looking forward to our next power outage.

I bought this just after the big Texas freeze, so that I'll be ready for hurricane season. I've run a few times and it seems to work well and powers up the essentials in my home. Very happy with it.
