The instructions doesn’t give you much information on the break-in. Other than keeping it at half capacity for the first five hours. So I had to look up how to do a proper break-in on a generator. Which I did one hour of running with no load. Then changing the engine oil. Then running it for two hours with no load And then again, changing the engine oil. then finished up with a two hour run with 2000 W load on the generator for two hours, and then changing the oil again . my generator is a 9500. The plan is to use it for a back up generator for our house. It should be able to run at least half of my house without the HVAC. But so far it fires up every time the first pole, and everything seems to be built at the highest quality. If you read the instructions, it tells you that you need to use full synthetic oil, which for me was quite hard to find. Because you have to make sure it’s four cycle oil and design for small engines. But overall, we love it
The higher wattage, remote start , ST start feature option and availability of high altitude carburetor kit are all features that I have been attempting to find. The inclusion of a 3 year warranty is a great bonus.
We just bought this generator and got it set up, and so far everything seems to see working really well. I feel like it was a great value for what we got.
