Great Generator!

We have not had to use our generator yet, but it was easy to make ready for the expected outages to come. We checked out several different ones before we decided this one was the best. We have full confidence that it will perform when necessary.

Faulty sensor

I purchased this Generator 09/13/2024 because we have 5 or more power outages each year. My stepmother lives with us and she requires oxygen 24/7. We had a 2500W inverter which is difficult to start and was not sufficient power :2 refrigerator a large freezer and several interior lights. This unit has remote starting. We should have purchased a unit with the power, easy care, and easy start years ago. Don't purchase a little unit, you need at least 9500W run, 12500 start.

This one is the best one I have bought Runs my 5th wheel and a small 26 foot travel trailer In the winter we loose power alot here in oregon it's so nice with the remote start when we have 3 feet of snow

the 9500c is misleading it is fuel injected

I wanted a carburetor not a fuel injection system. Not much was made clear to me in its description. This is just more electronic junk to go bad, including the remote, which is only greed. I did wonder why everyone in the US was selling these so cheap? Now I know. I had to change from the great generators I had been using to this! I hope it lasts through December. It has too many gadgets and they cannot even put the serial number on the manual... you have to go out in a storm when it arrives and find it just above the exhaust and try to write it down while breathing exhaust. I wonder what would happen in a storm if you were trying register it by breathing exhaust? Yet, there are thousands of warnings about everything. I am off-grid and have had 100s of generators, yet I cannot even work on this one. Westinghouse has made it impossible without a electronics shop to work on this machine. I will not buy another Westinghouse.. greed typical of companies like Westinghouse. I do not recommend this product for any place where you are using it as backup for storms.
