We bought this in case of another storm. 2 weeks later a hurricane decided to come our way. It worked great, pleased with the purchase.

QUALITY IS GREAT. PRICE WAS IN MY RANGE. I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO PUT IT TO A EXTENDED RUN TEST BUT THE DUAL FUEL DOES WORK. I WILL DEFFINATELY BE RECOMMENDING THIS PRODUT TO MY COWORKERS THAT ARE LOOKING FOR GENERATORS AFTER HURRICANE BERYL.

Love the remote start

Purchased this to have the 50a plug, with more than enough power for the house. Wanted the push button remote electric start to make it easy to use during storms and other outages. Starts right up.

I bought this generator right after Hurricane Beryl hit us. Hooked up with the house; broke in; oil change etc. Now I am ready for the next hurricane!

Powerful and Simple

I bought the Westinghouse 9500 single fuel generator online a day after hurricane Beyrl hit our area. Living in a rural area I already knew that the power was going to be out for an extended period of time. I came about two days later and life was back to normal. I stayed cool inside with it running our large window AC unit. Figured out how to wire up my well pump to it and had water. Fridge and microwave along with lights were all plugged in as well. The generator was able to run everything pretty well but out of caution I turned off the AC when I needed to use the microwave or wanted to cycle the well pump. I’m definitely going to install a 50amp power inlet box to my main breaker panel so I can power my home easier compared to running a game of Tetris with the extension cords. Definitely glad I purchased a generator but even more grateful to have purchased the Westinghouse 9500c size. I have no more concerns about power outages while living in a rural area. This thing made it a pleasant experience and I had WiFi, TV, AC, refrigerator, lights, microwave, a well pump, and whatever small appliances I needed at the time running off of the four 120v power ports. The most important of them all was the AC and coffee maker. Overall I’m satisfied with the price point and product.
