Great so far

I've not yet used this generator enough to fully evaluate it, but everything so far has been excellent. It was easy to set-up and everything functions as advertised. The electric start feature is really nice. It runs smooth and is quieter than an older 5K generator that I had been using. It should make enduring these ridiculous PG&E power shutoff's much, much easier.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Powerful and great features.

This generator has all the power I need to run the essentials of of my home.
Set up was a easy snap. Directions are also easy to follow. Once you assemble the feet and wheels and fill with the provided oil you are ready to start. After a couple of tries it started right up. I let it run for about an hour before I put a load on it. Then gradually over the next two hours I increased the load. I am able to run lights, two TV's, furnace, two air handlers and well pump all at the same time.

Remote Start!!! Lengthy quiet running time!

We are very excited due to power outages are something we have become way to accustomed to due to climate change! We have thrown out more food, sat in winter clothing, layered inside our home here in Canada, FROZEN! No more! Did I mention Remote Starter

I learned that I needed a new breaker box service panel and decided to have a manual transfer switch installed at the same time. I purchases the WGen 9500 for backup power to the house in the event of a power outage. The recent Kincade fire in Sonoma Co. CA caused the utility to shut down power to our area for several days. The Wgen9500 generator was used for several hours each day to warm up the house and to keep food cold/frozen in the fridge. The push-button starter feature is really nice and saves some time and labor, although I did start it with the pull-starter just to see how it would do (started easily). An excellent product. The only improvement I'd recommend on it is to beef up the muffler and make it a bit quieter so that the neighbors aren't annoyed.

Just purchased WGen9500 was delivered to my home it took me less than 30 minutes to unbox fill with fluids and start with remote start. Very happy with product!

Order this on Amazon Prime and recieved it 3 days later, open box installed the wheels and feet . Installed the oil and connected the battery. Added gas and whalla! generator started and ran smoothly. Hooked up my transfer switch today and tried the remote start ,all good

I bought this a month ago. Used it once when we experienced the power outage. It is powerful enough for my needs.
I like the indicator showing Voltage, Frequency and Time used. Looking forward to get warning about needed preventive maintenance at preset hours, seems to be very clever cost/damage saving feature.

I also like automatic choke very much, as it was always dicey to explain to my wife how to operate the old generator with manual choke.
Not sure what the gas consumption would be with light load vs. full load, there is no description of this in manual (my old Generac was able to switch to low output).
It does not have any oil filter, which I think is a serious omission for such large 13.5HP engine, it would certainly prolong engine life.
I wish it had come with the advertised remote control. Needless to say that Westinghouse promised to send me one, since it was missing in original shipment.
