I bought this generator after a recent ice storm knocked out our power. I'm currently in the process of installing a transfer switch to keep us powered up in the future.

Hope it doesn't come to needing the 5300DFcv, but when needed it will surely keep me and my family "in the game". No telling when we'll need it with the current crazy President in the white house.

Great generator, every part feels quality. The push button start is very nice! It is a little heavy, had planned on carrying this on a cage on the back of my travel trailer but it exceeds the weight capacity for that on my camper. However overall, a great generator!

I bought this due to its power and compact size. I have a Westinghouse smaller inverter also and really do like the quality and ease of use of their products

We use one just like this at work and it’s a workhorse, so I got one for home. Love the dual fuel feature and that it came with wheels. It was simple and easy to get setup. Although I bought it for emergency purposes, Im looking forward to putting it to the test.
